The Social Centre will host a public consultation event on Monday, November 12 from 4-7pm where parishioners are invited to view copies of Tewkesbury Borough Council’s local plan and ask council officers any questions.

Thursday saw another session of flu jabs in the Century Hall with hundreds of Leckhampton Surgery patients turning up.

Their next session is on Thursday, November 8 in the afternoon.

Thank you to Olly at Tai Chi for moving to the Millennium Hall while flu jabs were going on.

The Thursday session of Tai Chi is due to come to an end and their last one is today.

Monday sessions in the afternoon will remain the same.

Cub Scouts missed having a session last Monday due to lack of adult leaders but back to normal on Monday.

Beavers are on tomorrow from 5.30p-6.45pm. The colony is quite full and still being run by Joanna and Nikki with the help of young leader Anna.

Sadly our Scout Troop has gone into a rest period where only one Scout is turning up.

Looks like we will have to wait until the new year when perhaps some Cubs reaching 10 years of age will venture to the Scout troop.

It is ahame as the Troop, which is for boys and girls 10 plus, have a great experience. However they all do eventually reach 14 and move up to Explorers in Cheltenham. Looking forward to the future.

The next seniors drop-in coffee morning is on Tuesday, November 6, in the Link Room. Hope to see the usual residents and more.

The annual hamster show was on last week and attended by quite a few interested members.

Several other events are going on in the halls this weekend from fundraising to parties.

We need as much news as possible to fill these pages, especially from companies or organisations who meet in the Social Centre.
