BUSINESSES throughout the county are being invited to contribute their ideas to create a new Local Industrial Strategy for Gloucestershire.
Plans for companies to play their part in developing the strategy will be announced at the Annual Review of Gfirst LEP at the partnership‘s Annual Review at Hartpury University on November 14.
“Gloucestershire has never before had a Local Industrial Strategy driven by its own Local Enterprise Partnership”, said Gfirst LEP Chief Executive, David Owen.
”Companies here now really do have the opportunity to play a leading part in shaping the county’s economic future.
“Our Annual Review at Hartpury will give us the opportunity of asking business what ideas they feel will have the most benefit to them developing their companies and the economy of the county.
“We have some great companieslarge and small-and their success gives us a powerful partnership with business to go forward to create exciting plans for the future.
“We now look forward to developing this new, Local Industrial Strategy for Gloucestershire with our business partners over the next year.
Gloucestershire is a great place in which to live and work and we want to future-proof our great county for generations to come.”
