Elmstone Hardwicke Parish Council meet in the village hall tonight at 7.30pm.

The service at St Mary Magdalene, on Sunday, November 4 at 10.45am will be Holy Communion from the Book of Common prayer.

All are welcome to attend our community church.

Chatterbox coffee drop-in will be held at St Lawrence Church, Swindon Village on Tuesday, November 6, from 10.30am -noon. Join us for a chat, company, cuppa and cake.

On Sunday, November 11 at 10.45am the service at St Mary Magdalene will be the Act of Remembrance at the war memorials for the local people who died in the First and Second World Wars.

The next afternoon whist drive in the village hall will be on Tuesday, November 13, at 2pm.

Entrance, raffle, refreshments and prizes only £1. Come along for a friendly game of cards.

There will be a skittles evening at Civil Service Club on Saturday, November 17, 7pm for 7.30pm. Bar and food available, Entry £5 in aid of St Mary Magdalene fund raising. Contact Shelagh Holder on 01242 680 952 .

Every Thursday at 10.30am the singing group Go Vocal meet at the village hall.

Led by Linda Corcoran they sing old and new, rock and pop, and always welcome new members.
