Wheel good idea: Offices with a difference officially opened
COWORKING has taken the world by storm - and now it has arrived in Gloucester. The Wheelhouse has opened a new co-working space on College Green in partnership with GRCC, the community action charity.
It was officially launched on Wednesday, October 31, with Gloucester mayor Joanne Brown cutting the ribbon.
Janice Banks, CEO of GRCC said, ‘We are delighted to be working with The Wheelhouse and supporting the Gloucester economy.
“Our experience in working with communities is complemented by their great set up for local entrepreneurs and start up businesses. It’s a great partnership”.
The space is made up of full-time desks, hot desks, a relaxed seating area and two meeting rooms with unlimited fresh coffee and events laid on for members.
It has flexible one-month contracts for freelancers, small businesses and social enterprises.
Alex Lloyd Davies, managing director of The Wheelhouse said “We aim to create a friendly, flourishing space for you to drive your business forward.
“The Wheelhouse Gloucester is light, airy and inspiring. We invite anyone interested to pop in and check out the space for themselves”.
