Wheel good idea: Of­fices with a dif­fer­ence of­fi­cially opened

COWORK­ING has taken the world by storm - and now it has ar­rived in Glouces­ter. The Wheel­house has opened a new co-work­ing space on Col­lege Green in part­ner­ship with GRCC, the com­mu­nity ac­tion char­ity.

It was of­fi­cially launched on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 31, with Glouces­ter mayor Joanne Brown cut­ting the rib­bon.

Jan­ice Banks, CEO of GRCC said, ‘We are de­lighted to be work­ing with The Wheel­house and sup­port­ing the Glouces­ter econ­omy.

“Our ex­pe­ri­ence in work­ing with com­mu­ni­ties is com­ple­mented by their great set up for lo­cal en­trepreneurs and start up busi­nesses. It’s a great part­ner­ship”.

The space is made up of full-time desks, hot desks, a re­laxed seat­ing area and two meet­ing rooms with un­lim­ited fresh cof­fee and events laid on for mem­bers.

It has flex­i­ble one-month con­tracts for free­lancers, small busi­nesses and so­cial en­ter­prises.

Alex Lloyd Davies, man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of The Wheel­house said “We aim to cre­ate a friendly, flour­ish­ing space for you to drive your busi­ness for­ward.

“The Wheel­house Glouces­ter is light, airy and in­spir­ing. We in­vite any­one in­ter­ested to pop in and check out the space for them­selves”.
