Doubling up to help fight against cancer

DONATIONS to Cobalt’s Gloucestershire Breast Equipment Appeal could be doubled as part of a national campaign.

The Big Give, a non-profit, charitable website, enables donors to support charity projects with online match funding.

Every donation given to Cobalt before noon on December 4 up to £25,000 will be doubled.

Head of fundraisingjulia Jenkins said: “The money raised through The Big Give will be used to fund a 3D Mammography System for Thirlestaine Breast Centre.

“The new system enables doctors to identify breast cancer at an earlier stage.”
