There will be a creative Christmas workshop at Deerhurst Priory on Tuesday, December 4 from 10am-1pm and Wednesday, December 5 7 – 9.30pm.

Cate Morris will demonstrat­e wreath making. The cost will be £25, including coffee and cake or mulled wine and nibbles.

Cheltenham Big Band Society meets monthly at the Village Hall, Up Hatherley.

Take the opportunit­y to listen to some of the best of the big nands on the last Friday of every month at 2.30pm, £2 including refreshmen­ts.

Come along to Be Social and help raise money for Cheltenham Open Door on Wednesday, December 5 from noon– 1.30pm in the Guide Hall, Winchcombe.

Soup, sandwich, cake and a cuppa will cost £5. Last month £375 was raised for the Hamper Scamper Appeal.

The next Dance with Parkinson’s event will take place on Monday, December 3 at Abbey Fields Community Centre.

The cost is £5 per session for those with Parkinson’s and is free to family, friends and carers.

The next meeting of Winchcombe Town Council will take place on Wednesday, December 5 at Abbey Fields Community Centre, 7.30pm.

The Winchcombe Parking Review will be debated at the meeting.

The full council meeting will be preceded by the usual planning committee meeting at 7pm.
