Hotel launches first ‘beauty bank’ in time for the festive season

A SPA hotel in the county is launching its first festive ‘beauty bank’ collection this Christmas.

The spa at The Cheltenham Chase Hotel, in Brockworth, will be collecting donations of new and unopened beauty products to gift to their local Cheltenham Foodbank in time for Christmas.

It will be operating a drop-off point at its spa reception for staff and guests until Monday, December 19.

The foodbank will accept soaps, shower gel, toothpaste and deodorants.

Dan Kelly, General Manager at the hotel, said: “We were inspired by one of our sister hotels, which carried out a ‘Beauty Bank’ collection in aid of National Spa Week this year.

“We realised there was more we could be doing for our local foodbank, especially over the festive season.

“We’re calling for staff and customers to drop off donations of beauty essentials like shampoo and deodorant.

“Even one item would help make a difference.”

Donations of beauty products will not be accepted if the packaging is damaged, seals are broken or expiry dates have lapsed.

The Hotel is operated by independent hotel management company, RBH.
