» The next parish coun­cil meet­ing will take place to­day at Leck­hamp­ton Vil­lage Hall at 7.35pm. All parish­ioners wel­come and ques­tions will be taken.

» There will be a Christ­mas craft fair at The Brizen Cen­tre, off Up Hather­ley Way, on De­cem­ber 8 from 11.30am to 2pm. Free ad­mis­sion and park­ing.

Re­fresh­ments avail­able. Large va­ri­ety of stalls all items hand­made lo­cally.

» The Ba­con The­atre will show NT Live: The Mad­ness of Ge­orge III on De­cem­ber 10, start­ing at 7pm.

Tick­ets £16.50, £14.50 for con­ces­sions, or £12.50 for stu­dents.

Also at the Ba­con is Santa’s Marvel­lous Mag­i­cal Toyshop on Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 12, at 10.30am.

» Chel­tenham Cho­ral So­ci­ety will present Ta­pes­try of Christ­mas Mu­sic at Pittville Pump Room, on Tues­day, De­cem­ber 11, from 7.30pm.

Tick­ets £10, un­der 13 years £5, avail­able on door or at Chel­tenham Town Hall.

» The St Christo­pher’s Church, Christ­mas Fair is on Satur­day from 10am-noon.

As well as stalls there will be car­ols on the hour, please come along and sup­port us.

» Car­ols in Mont­pel­lier Gar­dens will be pro­vided by The Innsworth Mil­i­tary Wives Choir and The Uke­holics in aid of the Chel­tenham Food­bank on De­cem­ber 14, from 5pm to 7pm

» The Com­mu­nity Film Show at The URC Cen­tre Sal­is­bury Av­enue will be show­ing a won­der­ful mu­si­cal on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 15 at 2.30pm. All wel­come, free en­try, re­fresh­ments avail­able.

» The War­den Hill Ladies Group will meet on Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 12 at 7.30pm for a bring and share sup­per and ukulele en­ter­tain­ment. A warm wel­come to any new mem­bers.

» The re­gen­er­a­tion/re­pair cafe is held on the first Satur­day of ev­ery month at St An­drews from 10am to 2pm.

Vol­un­teers have a go at re­pair­ing elec­tri­cal and elec­tronic items, tex­tiles, small house­hold items.

No charge but do­na­tions much ap­pre­ci­ated.

» The Hather­ley Health Walks meet at 10.15am for a 10.30am start ev­ery Wed­nes­day in front of the Hil­lview Cen­tre/hather­ley Li­brary, all wel­come.

» The Brizen Cen­tre off Up Hather­ley Way is avail­able to hire. Only £14 per hour, in­clud­ing use of kitchen. Check the cal­en­dar for book­ings at the­brizeny­oung­peo­ples­cen­tre.org.uk.

» The Wed­nes­day So­cial Group

con­tin­ues to be very pop­u­lar and new mem­bers are most wel­come.

» The next War­den Hill po­lice drop-in ser­vice will be on Jan­uary 14 from 2-3pm at Sadars Cafe, Sal­is­bury Av­enue. It will be manned by our two PCSOS.

» Chel­tenham Big Band So­ci­ety meets monthly at the vil­lage hall in Up Hather­ley.
