» On Thursdays and Fridays 9am-4pm, throughout December and January, Danny’s Cafe, 21, Church Road is taking donations in aid of the Cheltenham Open Door Charity.

Donations of dried or tinned foods (in date please), warm clothing, sleeping bags, waterproof­s all welcome (please no jumble items).

» Cleeve Harmony is hosting Carols in the Barn on Friday, December 7 from 6.15pm.

Entry £4, under-16s free, in aid of the Sue Ryder Hospice appeal.

» The latest draw for the St Michael’s Centre 100 Club took place last week, with the numbers selected by Sue and Richard Kent.

The winners were first – Mary James, second – David Treble, third – Dianne Seabourne.

If you want to join the 100 Club or would like to purchase additional numbers (just £12 per year each), simply call in at the Church Office and leave your name and contact details.

Someone from the 100 Club team will be in touch.

The more people who join, the greater the prize money!

All profits go towards the upkeep of St Michael’s Centre.

» Bishop’s Cleeve Players present this year’s Christmas Panto from on December 14-15 in the Tithe Barn, Bishop’s Cleeve.

The players will perform Little Red Riding in the Hood, a new spin on a classic story.

» Bishop’s Cleeve WI is hosting a programme of events in the Tithe Barn, all meetings starting at 7.15pm.

December 18, Christmas/birthday Party with festive entertainm­ent.

Monthly walks take place on the first Tuesday of every month and there is also book club, Knit and Natter, craft workshops, outings and theatre visits.

On December 11 there will be a ukulele group with nibbles and entertainm­ent.

» The Bumps and Babies Group is hosting a Christmas fancy dress party, on Tuesday, December 18 in Bishop’s Cleeve Library, 10.15am-noon. £1.50, entry all welcome.

» St Michael’s Centre hosts Praise and Play sessions in term time, Mondays from 9.45am to 11.30am.

» St Michael’s Hall hosts North Cotswold Foodbank sessions every Friday from 9.45am to 11.15am.

Donations to the foodbank can be left at Bishop’s Cleeve Parish Council office, hours of opening Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9am-3pm, Wednesdays 10am-3pm.
