» THIS week sees the launch our Gloucestershire Apprenticeship Awards 2019.

The campaign seeks to find the county’s best and brightest rising stars across all different industries and sectors.

It is also a chance to commend the businesses investing in fresh talent and the schemes that put apprentices on a path to success.

The campaign will culminate in an awards night at Cheltenham Racecourse.

Senior editor Rachael Sugden, said: “Putting your faith into someone who is often straight out of education, or even still in education, is a bold move but any business that has will know first hand how rewarding hiring an apprentice can be.

“Armed with a fresh perspective and a want to prove themselves, an apprentice can bring a new energy into a work team.

“Our Gloucestershire Apprenticeship Awards will not only praise those who have taken their opportunity and ran with it, but also the firms allowing young people to have these opportunities.
