» Cheltenham Regenerati­on and Repair Cafe’s next fix is on Saturday, December 8 at St Andrews Church, Montpellie­r Street, Cheltenham.

Repairs take place on the first Saturday each month except January when there is no session.

Repairs are free but donations are encouraged to keep the project going.

All helpers are volunteers and new

volunteers are very welcome.

Everything from vacuum cleaners and toasters to clothing can be repaired.

» Moveitorlo­seit offers easy to follow weekly classes for older people to keep trim, strong and steady.

Exercises, standing or seated are tailored to individual needs.

Classes with Angie are held on Tuesdays from 10.30am to 11.30am and Thursdays 2pm to 3pm at Salem Baptist Church Hall, St Georges Road opposite Sandfields Care Home.

Car parking is available and it is on the A,D,E and F bus routes. The first lesson is free.
