» On Satur­day there will be a cof­fee morn­ing in the Guide Hall from 9.30am­noon in aid of St Ni­cholas’ Parish Funds.

There will be a raf­fle, tombola, gifts, Fair­trade prod­ucts, home­made cakes and re­fresh­ments.

» The next Dance with Parkin­son’s event will take place on Mon­day, De­cem­ber 10, at Abbey Fields Com­mu­nity Cen­tre.

The cost is £5 per ses­sion for those with Parkin­son’s and is free to fam­ily, friends and car­ers.

» At Winch­combe Town Coun­cil’s De­cem­ber meet­ing, items dis­cussed were rec­om­men­da­tions from the park­ing re­view work­ing party, a rec­om­men­da­tion from the fi­nance com­mit­tee re­gard­ing a re­quest for fund­ing to­wards the re­fur­bish­ment of the town hall, con­sid­er­a­tion of the re­newal of GRCC mem­ber­ship and the usual up­date on the progress of the Winch­combe Park with rel­e­vant pro­pos­als made.
