The service in St Mary Magdalene on Sunday, February 3, at 10.45am will be Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer.

You are all very welcome to attend your community church.

The next afternoon whist drive to be held in the Uckington & Elmstone Hardwicke Village Hall will be on Tuesday, February 5 at 2pm.

Entrance, raffle, refreshments and prizes only £1.

Uckington Parish Council meets in the village hall on Thursday, February 7 at 7.30pm.

There is an opportunity during the meeting for members of the community to ask questions about the parish of Uckington.

There will be a grand spring jumble sale at the village hall on Saturday, March 2 at 2pm in aid of St. Mary Magdalene church funds.

Now is the time to spring clean your cupboards, roof space and garage, any jumble items can be left at the hall from 10am on the day of the sale.

Every Tuesday from 10.30am to noon, Chatterbox coffee drop-in takes place at St Lawrence Church, Swindon Village.

Join us for a chat, company, cuppa and cake.

Every Thursday at 10.30am, singing group Go Vocal meet at the village hall.

Led by Linda Corcoran, they sing old and new, rock and pop. New members are welcome, there is no need to read music and no audition to join.
