Grab cof­fee and cake to make a dif­fer­ence

» PEO­PLE in Chel­tenham are be­ing in­vited to join Churchill Re­tire­ment Liv­ing at its Lewis Car­roll Lodge de­vel­op­ment for a spe­cial Warm­ing Morn­ing to raise funds for food bank char­ity the Trus­sell Trust.

At 10.30am on Wednes­day, Fe­bru­ary 13, ev­ery­one is wel­come to step out of the cold and into the warmth of Lewis Car­roll Lodge’s Own­ers’ Lounge, where they will be treated to cof­fee and cake in re­turn for a small do­na­tion.

All of the money raised will go to the Trus­sell Trust, a char­ity which runs a net­work of food­banks pro­vid­ing emer­gency food to peo­ple re­ferred for sup­port.

Ber­nadette Hen­nelly, Re­gional mar­ket­ing man­ager for Churchill Re­tire­ment Liv­ing, said: “We’re look­ing for­ward to wel­com­ing peo­ple to our Warm­ing Morn­ing event to raise funds for such a worth­while cause, so it can con­tinue its vi­tal work in the lo­cal com­mu­nity.

“Ev­ery penny counts, which is why we’re ask­ing as many peo­ple as pos­si­ble to come along and sup­port the event and make a do­na­tion in re­turn for the re­fresh­ments on of­fer.
