Healthcare team gives some expert advice on opening of facility

CHELTENHAM based, Top 200 law firm BPE Solicitors has advised on the opening of a new health facility.

Cleeveland­s Medical Centre was recently opened in Bishop’s Cleeve, Cheltenham.

The new medical practice, run by Bishop’s Cleeve Medical Centre Limited, has seen the merger of Seven Posts Surgery in Prestbury and Greyholme Surgery in Cleeve to create a new site capable of providing a wide range of services including state of the art consultati­on and treatment rooms as well as a suite for minor operations and an onsite pharmacy.

The combined medical centre will initially provide healthcare services to more than 10,300 patients however this is due to increase as a result of further housing planned for the area.

The new facility also has counsellin­g and consulting rooms along with a 100m² unit available for hire to health providers.

BPE’S commercial property team, led by Partner Jo Bewley, advised Bishop’s Cleeve Medical Limited throughout the developmen­t of the site including specific matters relating to leases, finance agreements and constructi­on matters.
