Uckington Par­ish Coun­cil meets in the vil­lage hall to­day, Fe­bru­ary 7, at 7.30pm.

There is an op­por­tu­nity dur­ing the meet­ing for mem­bers of the com­mu­nity to ask ques­tions about the par­ish.

The ser­vice in St Mary Mag­da­lene on Sun­day, Fe­bru­ary 10, at 10.45am will be Holy Com­mu­nion.

You are all wel­come to at­tend your com­mu­nity church.

Uckington & Elm­stone Hard­wicke Women’s In­sti­tute meets in the vil­lage hall on Thurs­day, Fe­bru­ary 14, at 7.30pm.

Judith Humphreys will give a pre­sen­ta­tion on re­flex­ol­ogy and anx­i­ety. The com­pe­ti­tion is a favourite pair of socks.

The next af­ter­noon whist drive in the vil­lage hall will be on Tues­day, Fe­bru­ary 19 at 2pm. En­trance, raf­fle, re­fresh­ments and prizes only £1.

Come along and en­joy a friendly game of cards

There will be a grand spring jumble sale at Uckington & Elm­stone Hard­wicke Vil­lage Hall on Satur­day, March 2 at 2pm in aid of St. Mary Mag­da­lene church funds.

Any jumble items can be left at the hall from 10am on the day of the sale.

Ev­ery Tues­day, from 10.30am-noon, Chat­ter­box cof­fee drop-in is held at St. Lawrence Church, Swin­don Vil­lage. Join us for a chat, com­pany, cuppa and cake.

Ev­ery Thurs­day at 10.30am the sing­ing group Go Vo­cal meets at the vil­lage hall.

Led by Linda Cor­co­ran they sing old and new, rock and pop and new mem­bers are wel­come with no need to read mu­sic and no au­di­tion to join.
