Mcalin­den helps Yates get off to a win­ning start

» LIAM Mcalin­den helped Kid­der­min­ster Har­ri­ers to an im­pres­sive 4-1 win over Ch­ester at the week­end.

The for­ward helped for­mer Robins boss Mark Yates and his new side over­take their op­po­nents and stay in touch with the Na­tional League North play-off places.

In the same di­vi­sion Ge­orge Lloyd, who cel­e­brated his 19th birth­day to­day, fea­tured for 68 min­utes in Here­ford’s 2-2 draw at Leam­ing­ton.

Else­where in the Na­tional League Josh De­bayo played 64 min­utes in Dover Ath­letic’s 3-2 home loss to Har­ro­gate Town, while Tom Smith started in Bath City’s 3-0 loss at Dart­ford in Kent.

Among the un­der-18s schol­ars cur­rently out on loan, Archie Bren­nan and Ioan Richards both started in Slim­bridge’s 2-2 home draw with Cirences­ter Town.

Tom Han­d­ley scored but was a part of the Lyd­ney Town squad that lost on penalty kicks at The Gore to Burn­ham in the Bluefin Sports Sup­ple­men­tary Cup.

In the To­tal Mo­tion Mid­land Foot­ball League, Grant Hor­ton started in Worces­ter City’s 4-3 loss at Lough­bor­ough Univer­sity, while Olly Price’s West­fields were with­out a game due to a post­pone­ment.

It was the same story for Miles Scott in the Tool­sta­tion Western League with Bit­ton, and for Fred­die Lap­worth with Glouces­ter City in the Na­tional League South.

Mid­field pair Will Dawes and Tyreece Briscoe both fea­tured for Tuf­fley Rovers in their note­wor­thy 1-1 away draw at As­cot United.
