Workshop focus put on Brexit implications
» BUSINESS leaders will be briefed on the employment, commercial and data protection law implications of Brexit, at a workshop run by Willans LLP solicitors on February 26 at Cheltenham’s Manor by the Lake.
Lawyers from the Legal 500-rated firm will be covering topics such as commercial agreements and intellectual property post-brexit, along with the new rules for EEA workers in this country, and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation after March 29.
Delegates will be given plenty of opportunities to ask questions, share ideas and concerns with other directors, senior executives, HR managers and advisors.
Partner Matthew Clayton, speaker and head of the firm’s employment law division, said: “March 29 is hurtling towards us with alarming speed, and the current political climate gives businesses little confidence about what Brexit will look like, when or indeed if it happens.
The workshop runs from 9am to 1:30pm and tickets cost £45 + VAT to include lunch, coffee and networking opportunities.
