KINGSHOLM and Hartpury College are to host games at the Under-18 Six Nations Festival in April.

The festival sees each nation play three fixtures over 10 days.

The teams will be hosted by Hartpury University and Hartpury College with fixtures at the Gillman’s Ground, Worcester’s Sixways Stadium and Kingsholm.

Hartpury will host the opening games on Saturday, April 13, with England v Wales at noon, followed at 2.30pm by Ireland v France with Scotland v Italy at 5pm.

The action moves to Sixways on April 17 as France v Italy is at 11am, then Ireland v England at 1.30pm and Wales v Scotland at 4pm.

Kingsholm’s matches on Sunday, April 21 open at 11am with Scotland v Ireland, then England v France is at 1.30pm and at 4pm it is Italy v Wales.

England Under-18s pathway performance coach Jim Mallinder said: “Over the course of the festival we want players to enjoy themselves and have fun, to understand the way that England want to play and understand what they need to do in terms of being an international player.

“For the players it’s also the chance to experience what it is like to play several international fixtures in a tournament setting.”
