Aldi plan wins appeal
» ALDI has won the right to build a second supermarket in Cheltenham.
In the past 14 months it has had two planning applications to create a store on land off Grovefield Way in The Reddings rejected by the borough council.
But a developer behind plans to build the shop, offices and a children’s nursery, appealed against the refusal and the Planning Inspectorate has granted planning permission.
