Wit­ness ap­peal af­ter teenager at­tacks man

» A MAN was set upon as he walked through a pedes­trian tun­nel near the Waitrose su­per­mar­ket in Chel­tenham.

The vic­tim, in his 20s, was ap­proached by a teenage boy on the Honey­bourne Line who punched and kicked him.

Two other males also be­came in­volved in the in­ci­dent, which left the man with in­juries to his hands and face.

The at­tacked hap­pened at around 8am on Wednes­day, Jan­uary 23 and po­lice are seek­ing wit­nesses.

A Glouces­ter­shire po­lice spokesman said: “The teenager who first ap­proached the vic­tim is de­scribed as a white boy, be­lieved to be aged be­tween 17 and 18-years-old, 5ft 6/8ins tall and of a slim build.

“At the time of the in­ci­dent he was wear­ing a grey top and grey track­suit bot­toms.

“An­other boy is de­scribed as be­ing around 5ft 2ins tall, of a medium build and aged around 16-years-old. He was wear­ing a white cap, a grey hooded top and track­suit bot­toms.

“The third male is de­scribed as be­ing around 6ft tall. “
