» Cubs were back last Monday, and Beavers and Scouts are on tomorrow Friday.
» Gloucestershire County Scouts had their annual cooking competition in the Century Hall last Sunday, with seveb teams of four Scouts cooking a threecourse meal from 10.30am.
Each team was tested from about noon by three judges, who watched them all morning during preparation.
One of the judges was a professional chef, with two other Leaders making note of all that went on.
There were teams from all over the Cotswolds, and fortunately the winners were four Scouts from 41st Scout Group in Cheltenham, who meet at St Mark’s Scout Hut.
Well done to them and the other scouts as the results were very close. Winners will now go to the regional Scouts competition which is in the Century Hall on Sunday, March 10.
Competitors for the regional contest come from as far away as Devon and Cornwall, Portsmouth, Bristol and beyond.
» Multiple Sclerosis Information & Therapy are having their next jumble sale in the Century Hall on Saturday, March 30, from 2pm onwards.
Someone will be in the hall from morning so if you have anything for them to sell at the jumble please take it in for them. You will be most welcome.
