Com­mer­cial make pledge on clean vans

COM­MER­CIAL is proud to an­nounce that it has signed up to the Clean Van Com­mit­ment - a pub­lic pledge to move to zero emis­sion vans in ci­ties by 2028.

The Clean Van Com­mit­ment is co­or­di­nated by Global Ac­tion Plan, a char­ity that works for a green and thriv­ing planet and helps peo­ple live more sus­tain­able life­styles.

The char­ity is be­hind Clean Air Day, the UK’S largest air pol­lu­tion cam­paign, it works with young peo­ple to re­duce con­sumerism and in­crease well­be­ing, and it brings busi­ness and young peo­ple to­gether to work on a more sus­tain­able fu­ture.

Com­mer­cial has been tak­ing pos­i­tive ac­tion to re­duce emis­sions for nearly 12 years.

Dur­ing that time it has achieved sig­nif­i­cant re­duc­tion in its car­bon foot­print, adopt­ing sus­tain­able work­ing prac­tices in­clud­ing the in­tro­duc­tion of a hy­dro­gen-fu­elled fleet and the use of re­new­able en­ergy.

“We are de­lighted to sign up to the Clean Van Com­mit­ment,” says Si­mone Hind­march, Com­mer­cial Co-founder and Manag­ing Direc­tor.

“It is part of our con­tin­u­ous im­prove­ment in sus­tain­abil­ity, and our com­mit­ment to tak­ing on­go­ing, mean­ing­ful ac­tion.”
