Wi­lan­der set to visit Ross

» SEVEN-TIME Grand Slam win­ner Mats Wi­lan­der is vis­it­ing the in­au­gu­ral Ross Ten­nis Festival on Sun­day, July 7.

Wi­lan­der the for­mer world num­ber one will coach a group of up and com­ing chil­dren, as well as a group of adults.

The club are hold­ing a bal­lot to win one of the eight adult coach­ing spa­ces at the 90-minute ses­sion.

Ross Ten­nis Cen­tre is hold­ing an open evening on Fri­day, June 14 from 6.30-8.30pm for adults to turn up and play with no cost.

All abil­i­ties are wel­come to try the cen­tre’s new courts and the draw for the eight Mats Wi­lan­der coach­ing spots will take place at the Prince of Wales at 9pm.

There will be other ac­tiv­i­ties, such a straw­ber­ries and cream stall, and try-out-ten­nis for kids.
