Citroen cel­e­brates com­pany’s Ori­gins

CITROEN en­thu­si­asts can help to cel­e­brate the com­pany’s cen­te­nary by in­vest­ing in new ‘col­lec­tor’s edi­tion’ ver­sions of the C1 and C3 Air­cross com­pact SUV. The new Ori­gins mod­els fol­low sim­i­lar spe­cial ver­sions of the C3 and C4 Cactus and, are, says the com­pany, the fi­nal mod­els to get an exclusive makeover to cel­e­brate 100 years of the French brand.

Both the new Ori­gins mod­els are avail­able to or­der now, with pro­duc­tion start­ing in May with the C1 Ori­gins cost­ing £13,830 and the C3 Air­cross £19,355 - £1,550 and £1,800 more, re­spec­tively, than the mod­els on which they are based. As well as pec en­hance­ments, they fea­ture spe­cial bronze colours and graph­ics. The C1 Ori­gins comes with 15-inch black al­loys and a black bi-tone roof as stan­dard.

In­side, there’s grey cloth seat up­hol­stery

with in­tri­cate gold stitched de­tail and a spe­cial ‘Ori­gins’ colour pack with bronze air vents, gear stick sur­round and cen­tre con­sole fa­cia plus unique car­pet mats. Out­side there’s bronze de­tail­ing on the door mir­rors and rear pil­lar plus ‘Ori­gins’ lo­gos on the doors and tail­gate.

Based on the Flair trim level, it boasts plenty of ad­vanced equip­ment and tech­nol­ogy, in­clud­ing a rev­ers­ing cam­era, hill start ssist, a seven-inch touch­screen, au­to­matic lights and au­to­matic air con­di­tion­ing.the C3 Air­cross Ori­gins is based on the Feel trim level and is en­hanced with sev­eral tech­ni­cal up­grades in­clud­ing Citroën Connect Box with SOS & As­sis­tance, Citroën Connect Nav, Mir­ror Screen with An­droid Auto, rear park­ing sensors, au­to­matic lights and wipers as well as au­to­matic air con­di­tion­ing and an au­todim­ming rear view mir­ror.

Like the C1 it has a black bi-tone roof as stan­dard along with black 16-inch al­loys and bronze high­lights in­side and out.
