The theme will be a cel­e­bra­tion of 50 years since the space land­ing and the com­mit­tee os on the hunt for anyone out there who has the name Neil Armstrong, and who would be will­ing to open the street fair.

Court Farm Open Farm Sun­day takes place on Sun­day, June 9 from 10am4pm for a chance for ev­ery­one young and old, to ex­pe­ri­ence the sights, sounds and smells of the farm.

Free en­try, no need to book, plenty of park­ing in one of the fields.

Gother­ing­ton Singers, a local women’s choir, are re­cruit­ing new members. No ex­pe­ri­ence nec­es­sary.

St Michael’s Hol­i­day Club will host spe­cial ses­sions on the theme of Trea­sure Is­land in Wood­man­cote School, Sta­tion Road.

This scheme which of­fers a range of play op­por­tu­ni­ties will run from Au­gust 12-16, 8.30am-2.30pm for one-seven year olds.

Break­fast and lunch will be included in the club.

Cleeve Cho­rale’s Sum­mer Con­cert will take place at Grange­field School, Bishop’s Cleeve on Satur­day, July 6 at 5pm, per­form­ing along­side chil­dren from Grange­field School.

The Bard & Be­yond will fea­ture songs and son­nets by jazz leg­end Ge­orge Shear­ing, El­iz­a­bethan madri­gals and songs in­spired by po­ets.

There will be a ta­ble top sale at Denley Hall, Bishop’s Cleeve on the first Satur­day of the month from 10-11am. En­trance is free.

Lloyds’ mo­bile bank is based in the car park on the Green, Bishop’s Cleeve, is now avail­able on Tues­days and Thurs­days 10am-12.15pm and 1-2.45pm.

Cleeve Ladies Probus Club meet­ings take place at Bishop’s Cleeve Tithe Barn at 9.45am

The May 28 meet­ing is to be con­firmed.

On June 11, the speaker is Tim Black­more. and on June 25 it will be the story of a Wim­ble­don lines­man with Brian Par­tridge.

Bishop Cleeve Methodist Church Wed­nes­day Fel­low­ship wel­comes new members to all meet­ings in the Church Hall at 2pm.

June 5, TBC. June 19, Members own. July 3, Out­ing. Cleeve Car­ers and Friend­ship group reaches out to those in the com­mu­nity who may not be car­ers but are home alone or would like to meet with oth­ers for friend­ship.

Meet­ings at 2pm in St. Michael’s Hall and on June 11, the talk will be about su­per­sti­tions, with speaker Jan Ar­ney.

This group is look­ing for an or­gan­iser to run monthly min­i­nus trips.

Gother­ing­ton, Wool­stone and Ox­en­ton WI meets at 7.30pm on the fourth Wed­nes­day of the month in Gother­ing­ton Vil­lage Hall.

As well as a wide range of speak­ers, there is a weekly art group, monthly lunches, craft groups and work­shops, tai chi and so­cial events.

Vis­i­tors and new members are al­ways wel­come.
