» Friends of the Air Ambulance are holding a Coffee Morning at Emmanuel Church rooms from 10.30am tomorrow. All are welcome.
A clothes swap and sales event will be held at Emmanuel Church from 1 to 4pm on Saturday, May 25.
You are invited to take along six items of clothing plus accessories to swap.
Cost for a sales table of vintage or recent clothing, handmade clothes, bags and jewellery etc is £10.
Admission is £5 and includes a drink. This is to cover costs.
There will be a raffle in aid of a local charity.
If you are not taking clothes and just browsing then admission is £2.

Charlton Kings Choral Society is performing a concert of music by Handel, Boyce and Haydn on Saturday at 7.30pm in the Pump Room.
Fiona Hammacott, Victoria Jess, Nick Drew and David Smith are the soloists and the Regency Sinfonia conducted by John Wright will accompany the choir.

Charlton Kings Local and Family History Society meet at 7.30pm on Tuesday in the Baptist Church for a talk by Peter Covey-crump called “Journey of a walk from London to Edinburgh”.

There will be a member of our local Policing Team will be available for questions at the Parish Council Office on Wednesday from 1-2pm unless there is a local emergency.
A Defibrillator Awareness Session will be held at 5pm on Monday, June 3, at Stanton Hall, Church Piece.
The session will be led by a representative of the South Western Ambulance Service who will explain how to use the new Defibrillator which is located on the exterior wall of Stanton Hall.
All interested residents are invited to attend the session.
Charlton Kings Summer Fayre is on Saturday June 15 from 1-5pm.
The day will provide family fun for all ages with a variety of stalls and entertainment provided by local groups plus refreshments to suit every taste.

hree Counties cycle ride takes place on Sunday, June 9, starting and finishing at Tewkesbury Rugby and raising money for Linc.
The ride can be 32km or 64km around Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Ride for Ryder cycling event takes place on Sunday, June 23 where you can choose to cycle either 40km, 90km or 130km to raise money for our local Sue Ryder hospice.
