The first meet­ing of Winch­combe’s new Town Coun­cil took place on Wed­nes­day, May 15. Two co-op­tions were agreed but the town coun­cil is still two members short.

These two co-op­tions will be con­sid­ered at the next full coun­cil meet­ing on Wed­nes­day, June 5.

As it was the first meet­ing of the year nom­i­na­tions for com­mit­tees, out­side or­gan­i­sa­tions and work­ing groups were made.

Come along to a car boot sale on Satur­day, May 25, 10am–2pm in Winch­combe Li­brary Car Park. All pro­ceeds will go to Winch­combe Day Cen­tre.

As well as the car boot sale there will be face paint­ing, chil­dren’s games, candy floss, dough­nuts, cof­fee, burg­ers, smooth­ies and luxury milk shakes. Book your pitch to­day.
