Canine diners invited to try county’s latest place for pooches

-

DOG owners in the county have another place to take their furry friends in a growing list of establishments offering top-doggy dinners.

A ‘Doggie Brunch’ has landed at Tewkesbury Park in Lincoln Green Lane.

The news comes as more businesses open their doors to the whole family; with many catering for well-behaved pets to join in.

The brunch at Tewkesbury Park, which is available in the Piano Lounge - the hotel’s allocated dog area – offers ‘sausages a-plenty’ and a kilner jar’s worth of treats and snacks to keep them entertained and out of mischief.

At the same time, their owners will be able to enjoy ‘posh breakfast favourites’ in the hotel’s new restaurant Mint.

The restaurant signalled the final addition of Tewkesbury Park’s £10m renovation, and opened in November 2018; the culmination of four years of work for the owners and staff.

Humans can select from makeyour-own salad boards, freshlyprepared smoothies, and an array of dishes.

Then for pudding - besides a selection of mini-puds and warm waffles with a selection of toppings, the piece de resistance of the pudding table is most definitely the Willy Wonka style chocolate fountain.

After eating some food in the hotel, Tewkesbury Park said humans and pooches can walk off brunch in their 165 acre grounds.

The brunch is available every Sunday, between 11.30am and 3pm.

It is priced at £20 per adult and £10 per child aged between 5 and 12, with under 5s eating for free.

Cheltenham’s first dog cafe, Archie’s of Cheltenham, has been very popular since its launch last year.

Customers can take their pampered pets for a stroll around town and Montpellier Gardens before stopping by for a coffee and cake.
