-

OFFERS are being invited on a 22 acre site in Tewkesbury, described “to be of interest to developers and builders.”

Land at Gupshill Manor, situated just off Gloucester Road near Prior’s Park, Tewkesbury is currently for sale, according to a recent agents listing.

Offers are being invited for the Freehold Land, which is located within the Tewkesbury Conservation Area and the Tewkesbury Battlefield.

The agent states in the listing the land is “registered within the Register of Battlefield by English Heritage for its special historic interest”, but added that 30,000 square feet of Leisure Centre has been developed with the same area.

The listing states: “A potential development opportunity in Tewkesbury on a site of circa 22 acres subject to the necessary consents.

“The site is considered to be of interest to developers and builders.”

Interested parties have been advised to enquire with Tewkesbury Borough Council about planning permissions and potential applications.

Borough Council, Annette Roberts, said: “We have not received any planning applications for the site.

“If any applications were to come forward, they would need to be considered in line with the planning policies set out in our development plan.”

The land on Gloucester Road reportedly ‘offers considerable scope for alternate use’ according to the agents, which could include for housing and business.
