Man, 56, who died in crash has been named
THE man who died in a crash on the A46 near Beckford has been named by police. Graham Edmunds, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision on the busy road between Tewkesbury and Evesham.
West Mercia Police is continuing to appeal for witnesses or information following the collision at around 6.45am on Tuesday, June 25.
The collision involved a silver Vauxhall Vectra and Mr Edmunds, who was tending to his DAF flatbed lorry.
Mr Edmunds’ next of kin have been informed.
Road closures were in place while emergency services were in attendance.
Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or the manner in which the Vauxhall Vectra was being driven prior to the collision.

West Midlands Ambulance service said the collision involved a car, a pedestrian and a stationary lorry carrying three caravans.
Two ambulances and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene.
A spokesman for the service said: “A serious collision between a car, a pedestrian and a stationary lorry carrying three caravans has sadly resulted in one man dying.
“On arrival, ambulance crews found a car that had significant nearside damage. The lorry had rear offside damage.
“The pedestrian, a man, was found nearby.
“Sadly, it was immediately obvious that nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
“A woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s were assessed and treated at the scene by ambulance staff before being taken to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.”
The collision happened at 6.45am on Tuesday, June 25 but the road remained closed until late afternoon.
The collision happened outside Cotswold Edge Leisure Vehicles on the A46 Cheltenham Road near Beckford.
A six mile stretch of the A46 between Evesham and Tewkesbury was closed.
The closed section of road was from the A435/B4077 Teddington Hands roundabout to the A4184 Cheltenham Road at the Evesham Football Club roundabout, Hinton Cross.
