Does anyone know who owns paintings?

Gloucestershire Echo - - LETTERS & OPINION - Paul Giles Truro, Cornwall

✒ IN the 1950s or 1960s my late father, Cornwall-based artist Tony Giles, produced a series of works based on the piece of music Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky, in effect, turning the music back into art.

If we could track down their current owners, my wife Jan and I would very much welcome the opportunity, if at all possible, to arrange to view these paintings should we find ourselves in the area.

A friend recalls my late stepmother saying she thought they might have been bought by someone in the Gloucestershire area. If anyone is able to help in this quest please, we’d be most interested in hearing at [email protected] or on 01872 260396, thank you.
