The Tues­day’s Singing Group an­nual con­cert is tak­ing place on Satur­day, July 13 in St Philip and James Parish Church, Up Hather­ley, start­ing at 7pm.

The group will be singing a mix­ture of pop­u­lar and tra­di­tional songs.

Bar and buf­fet will be avail­able in the in­ter­val. Free en­try.

There will be a meet­ing to­mor­row, July 5, at 10am on Weavers Field to dis­cuss with en­vi­ron­men­tal im­prove­ments with Chel­tenham Bor­ough Coun­cil of­fi­cers.

As an ex­am­ple, you could share your thoughts on clear­ing some of the un­der­brush, fit­ting bird/bat boxes and sow­ing of wild flower seeds.

Any user of the field is in­vited to come along and pos­si­bly vol­un­teer to give some as­sis­tance.

The next Leck­hamp­ton with War­den Hill Parish Coun­cil meet­ing will take place at the Brizen Cen­tre off Up Hather­ley Way on Thurs­day, July 11, from 7.15pm.

All parish­ioners wel­come to raise is­sues for dis­cus­sion. Hather­ley Park is cel­e­brat­ing its 80th year, since open­ing in 1939 and there will be a huge birth­day event on Satur­day, July 13, 1–5pm.

Chel­tenham Big Band So­ci­ety meet monthly at the vil­lage hall in Up Hather­ley.
