Town’s fo­rum helps firms make a move into the digital world

CHIP­PING Cam­p­den has made a bold move into the world of digital mar­ket­ing to help pre­serve its shops and busi­nesses.

The town’s Busi­ness Fo­rum launched its as­so­ci­a­tion with the Maybe* so­cial me­dia plat­form at a Busi­ness West net­work­ing breakfast in the town at the Cotswold House Ho­tel.

Maybe* com­mer­cial di­rec­tor Nigel Job­son told the fo­rum how more cus­tomers could be at­tracted to Chip­ping Cam­p­den and small mar­ket towns like it.

He said: “We are de­lighted to be work­ing with Chip­ping Cam­p­den’s Busi­ness Fo­rum to en­able their busi­nesses to listen, un­der­stand, en­gage and grow with their so­cial me­dia au­di­ence.

“The ini­tial feed­back fol­low­ing the Busi­ness West breakfast has been very pos­i­tive and we are look­ing for­ward to shar­ing the re­sults over the next few weeks”.

And Michael Allchin, the town’s mayor and Busi­ness Fo­rum mem­ber, added: “This is the first time Maybe* has launched its plat­form for a small mar­ket town and I am en­cour­ag­ing all our mem­bers to sign up, get in­volved and grow their busi­ness”.
