Cross-channel test for intrepd cycling squad
» A TEAM of amateur cyclists is taking on an epic challeng to raise money for their company’s chosen charity.
The team will be rising 270 over four days from Kohler Mira’s base in Cheltenham to Paris in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK.
They have been in training ahead of the ride which begins on July 24.
Purchasing manager Tom Rastall, one of the ride organisers, said: “None of us have cycled this far before, so it will certainly be a challenge.
“We’ve all been putting in lots of miles in training.
“We are hoping for reasonable weather, as we are camping.”
