Woodmancot­e Vil­lage Hall will host an ex­hi­bi­tion of more than 100 quilts and other items on Satur­day, Au­gust 31, 10am-5pm, and Sun­day Septem­ber 1, 11am-4pm.

Vanessa’s Patch­work Jour­ney is in aid of two lo­cal char­i­ties, Mag­gie’s cancer cen­tre and The But­ter­fly Gar­den.

The Rev Dr Dee Bri­er­ley Jones is hold­ing an­i­mal blessing ser­vices in Woodmancot­e Vil­lage Hall, Bush­combe Lane.

The sum­mer gather­ing is Au­gust 4, 2pm, and, later in the year, a Christ­mas Carol gather­ing on Sun­day, De­cem­ber 1, 2pm.

These two un­usual non-church pet ser­vices are a lo­cal gather­ing of pet own­ers joined to­gether by the love of their pets, in a colour­ful and fun way, with mu­sic supplied by Chel­tenham Brass Band.
