A FARM­ERS Mar­ket will be held on the Prom­e­nade to­mor­row from 9am to 2pm. Stalls will be sell­ing fresh lo­cally grown pro­duce.

Coun­cil­lor Stephen Cooke will be hold­ing his monthly “drop-in” surgery for Leckhampto­n res­i­dents from 10.30am to 12 noon on Saturday (13th) at the Nor­wood Arms, 1 Leckhampto­n Road.

Coun­cil­lor Iain Do­bie will be hold­ing his War­den Hill monthly surgery on Saturday (13th) from 10am to 12 noon at Sar­dar’s Cafe, Sal­is­bury Av­enue.

Stow­ell Park has an Open Gar­den Day on Sunday (14th) from 2 to 5pm in aid of Cobalt. This is a beau­ti­ful gar­den with ter­races and lovely views. This year Head Gar­dener Chris Old­ham and Ar­chae­ol­o­gist Nina O’hare will give short talks in the walled gar­den and the Church of St Leonard. Tea and cakes will be served in the Ball­room Cafe. Ad­mis­sion is £6 and un­der 16’s free en­try. Guide Dogs only are al­lowed.

St Peter’s Church con­tin­ues serv­ing sum­mer af­ter­noon teas with de­li­cious home made cakes in the Cot­tage Gar­dens from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on Sun­days un­til July 21st. Ev­ery­one is wel­come.

A TEA Dance with live mu­sic and light re­fresh­ments will be held in the Town Hall from 2.30 to 5pm on Monday. Ad­mis­sion is £5 (Car­ers free)

Charl­ton Kings Flower club meet at 7.30pm on Monday at The Pav­il­ion, Bal­car­ras School for a demon­stra­tion by Mar­garet Heal called “In­spi­ra­tions”.

The Tuck­well Open Air Fes­ti­val be­gins on Tuesday(16th) and runs un­til Thurs­day Au­gust 1st with many events in their amp­ithe­atre.
