White Tiger wel­comes new black belts

» FIVE stu­dents from the White Tiger Mar­tial Arts Academy at the Wheat­pieces Com­mu­nity Cen­tre in Tewkes­bury have been pro­moted to 1st de­gree (1st Dan) and 2nd De­gree (2nd Dan) Black Belts af­ter a Na­tional Ch’ang-hon Taek­won-do As­so­ci­a­tion Black Belt grad­ing.

Alexan­der Cole was pro­moted to 2nd Dan whilst Richard Lockwood, Sarah Cole, Robert Clin­gan and Eleanor Dixon-grif­fiths are now 1st Dan Black Belts.

In­struc­tor Paul Wanklyn, 5th Dan said: “It was a spe­cial mo­ment for me and my wife Jill (also an In­struc­tor) to see ev­ery­one ob­tain their Black Belt or higher Dan grade.

“They have worked very hard and we’re ex­tremely proud.“
