Ex-robins defender Pring to spend the season with Walsall
» BRISTOL City’s former Cheltenham Town full-back Cameron Pring has joined Walsall on a season-long loan.
The 21-year-old spent the second half of the 2018/19 campaign with the Robins, where he had previously been a development player before joining City in 2016.
He made seven starts and one substitute appearance for the, having spent the first half of the campaign at Newport County AFC.
Pring’s older brother Korey plays for Slimbridge in Southern League Division One West.
Two other players wth Robins connections have made loan moves.
Young goalkeeper Max O’leary, who appeared for Cheltenham in pre-season friendlies in 2016, has been loaned by Bristol City to League One side Shrewsbury Town.
He made 15 appearances in the Championship for his parent club during the 2018/19 campaign. and will now spend 2019/20 with the Shrews.
Joe Morrell, who spent 2017/18 at Cheltenham, has joined last season’s League Two champions Lincoln City.
