Ex-robins de­fender Pring to spend the sea­son with Wal­sall

» BRIS­TOL City’s for­mer Chel­tenham Town full-back Cameron Pring has joined Wal­sall on a sea­son-long loan.

The 21-year-old spent the se­cond half of the 2018/19 cam­paign with the Robins, where he had pre­vi­ously been a devel­op­ment player be­fore join­ing City in 2016.

He made seven starts and one sub­sti­tute ap­pear­ance for the, hav­ing spent the first half of the cam­paign at New­port County AFC.

Pring’s older brother Korey plays for Slim­bridge in Southern League Di­vi­sion One West.

Two other play­ers wth Robins con­nec­tions have made loan moves.

Young goal­keeper Max O’leary, who ap­peared for Chel­tenham in pre-sea­son friendlies in 2016, has been loaned by Bris­tol City to League One side Shrews­bury Town.

He made 15 ap­pear­ances in the Cham­pi­onship for his par­ent club dur­ing the 2018/19 cam­paign. and will now spend 2019/20 with the Shrews.

Joe Mor­rell, who spent 2017/18 at Chel­tenham, has joined last sea­son’s League Two cham­pi­ons Lin­coln City.
