Watch the skies to see fan­tas­tic flights and ex­cel­lent air­craft

» THE world’s largest mil­i­tary air show is land­ing in Glouces­ter­shire this week­end.

Air­craft from more than 20 na­tions will head to RAF Fair­ford from July 19 to 21 for the Royal In­ter­na­tional Air Tat­too.

The event is held an­nu­ally at RAF Fair­ford in Glouces­ter­shire in sup­port of The Royal Air Force Char­i­ta­ble Trust and usu­ally at­tracts around 160,000 spec­ta­tors.

The show is set to fea­ture a num­ber of air­craft with some be­ing static while oth­ers will take flight.

Three must-sees at the show will be the Spit­fire, the Hur­ri­cane and the Lan­caster - all of which will be tak­ing flight on both Satur­day and Sun­day,

Tick­ets for the Air Tat­too must be pur­chased in ad­vance - no tick­ets will be avail­able to pur­chase at the en­try gates.

» A fes­ti­val with a dif­fer­ence will take place at Sude­ley Cas­tle this Satur­day and Sun­day.

The Fan­tasy For­est fes­ti­val will see a host of cos­tumed char­ac­ters from around the world visit the Winch­combe attraction for a week­end of mu­sic, en­ter­tain­ment and won­der.

Vis­i­tors are in­vited to don their favourite cos­tume to join the event and min­gle along­side a host of char­ac­ters, from fairies, pi­rates and Vik­ings, to Storm troop­ers, knights and elves.

Live mu­sic will also be on of­fer from lead­ing Celtic rock groups The Dol­men and Green­rose Faire, as well as Ir­ish folk band Har­mony Glen and UK folk-goth band Inkubus Sukkubus.
