This is a beau­ti­ful gar­den to walk round with an op­por­tu­nity to browse the spe­cial­ist nurs­ery stalls for in­ter­est­ing and un­usual plants.

Light re­fresh­ments will be on sale in the or­angery cafe.

Ad­mis­sion is £5 for adults and un­der 16’s free.

» St Peter’s Church will be serv­ing the last of their sum­mer af­ter­noon teas with de­li­cious home made cakes in the Cot­tage Gar­dens from 2.30-4.30pm on Sun­day. Ev­ery­one is wel­come.

» There will be a full meet­ing of the par­ish coun­cil at the Stan­ton Rooms on Mon­day, July 22, at 7pm. Meet­ings are open for mem­bers of the com­mu­nity to at­tend.

» The Tuck­well Open Air Fes­ti­val runs un­til Au­gust 1,with many events in the amp­ithe­atre.

The en­trance is off Shel­burne Road and the site opens about 50 min­utes be­fore each show starts.

» Keep Safe Glouces­ter­shire has launched a new-look web­site at keep­safe­g­los.org which in­cludes a map of all the Keep Safe places across the county.

They are de­vel­op­ing an app to help vul­ner­a­ble peo­ple find the near­est safe place, should they need help or some­where to stay while wait­ing for a friend or fam­ily mem­ber to col­lect them.
