Two in a row Richard retains his title at club’s one-mile challenge
THE Bourton One Mile Challenge had a super turn-out yet again with last year’s race winner, Richard de-camps from Cheltenham & County Harriers making it two wins in a row.
This year he was the clear leader in a time of 4.32, four seconds ahead of William Stockley from Belgrave Harriers. Cirencester’s Dave Bell came in third, another four seconds later.
Emily Field, 17, running for Stratford AC on the night, conclusively won the ladies race in a superb time of 5.24, beating Tewkesbury’s Shona Crombiehicks by five seconds. Anna Midgley of Gloucester finished third in 5.33.

The Fun Run trophies were won by John Knight (unattached) and first female, was eight- year old Chloe Krzywiec of Bourton Roadrunners.
