Food, music and the beach – it’s all going on this weekend
» Culinary royalty will descend on Gloucester this week as Gloucester Quays Food Festival gets underway.
The three-day event which kicks off on Friday, July 26 will serve up a slice of Gloucestershire food and drink alongside culinary delights from across the globe.
The festival will feature cooking demonstrations from famed chefs such as Rosemary Shrager, Phil Vickery and Dean Edwards.
The festival for foodies will also host live music and DJS until 8pm on Friday and Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.
Many producers from Gloucestershire will be taking part in the event including Janes Pantry, Niang’s Thai Snacks, Gloucester Brewery, Goff’s Brewery in Cheltenham, Bespoke Brewing Company in Mitcheldean, Old Stag Cider in Fairford, Field Bar Wines at Chalford, Goldings Ice Cream and Snow Cones from Gloucester and My Coffee in Cheltenham.

» THE Three Choirs Choral Festival returns to Gloucester this weekend.
The week-long event has choral and orchestral concerts, cathedral services, solo and chamber music recitals, masterclasses, talks, theatre, exhibitions and walks, rotating each summer between the beautiful English cathedral cities of Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester.
It is the oldest non-competitive classical music festival in the world, which celebrated its 300th anniversary in 2015.
