AN exciting new cocktail bar and restaurant has revealed it will be coming to the county. The Alchemist is set to come to The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham next year.

The theatrical restaurant and bar will take over a 4,538 square foot site in the leisure area and is set to bring a ‘celebration of the unconventional, dark and controversial’ to the town.

The company currently has 15 venues across the UK, including sites in Cardiff, Birmingham and Manchester.

Nikki Kontarines, Asset Manager of The Brewery Quarter, said: “We’re delighted to welcome The Alchemist to the tenant portfolio as our next big opening.

“It’s a perfect for for the leisure and lifestyle mix that we are creating.

“The Alchemist is yet another aspirational tenant we’ve been keen to secure, further cementing The Brewery Quart as a high quality regional leisure destination.

Nikki added: “With the multimillion pound Cineworld expansion and refurbishment finishing in August this year, there’s a real buzz and the anticipation of the arrival of The Alchemist is incredibly exciting.”

The venue is set to open in Summer 2020 and boasts some elaborate cocktails.

Their website reads: “At the Alchemist we’re masters in the dark arts of molecular mixology and demons in the kitchen.

“Our mixologists create every cocktail with an obsessive eye for detail, presented in vessels orchestrated to add a devilish dash of theatre, they bedazzle, bewitch and set the scene for everything we do.”

The arrival of The Alchemist comes around a year after the highly-anticipated opening of the likes of The Botanist and Urban Outfitters.
