» Woodmancote Village Hall will host an exhibition of more than 100 quilts and other items on Saturday, August 31, 10am-5pm, and Sunday, September 1, 11am-4pm.
Vanessa’s Patchwork Journey is in aid of two local charities, Maggie’s cancer centre and The Butterfly Garden.

» The Rev Dr Dee Brierley Jones is holding animal blessing services in Woodmancote Village Hall, Bushcombe Lane.
The summer gathering is August 4 at 2pm with a Christmas carol gathering on Sunday, December 1, 2pm.
These two unusual non-church pet services are a local gathering of pet owners joined together by the love of their pets, in a colourful and fun way, with music supplied by Cheltenham Brass Band.
Everyone welcome, no entry fee, parking available.
» Woodmancote Probus Club meetings take place on Tuesdays at Woodmancote New Village Hall, starting at 9.30am, with refreshments followed by the talk at 10.30am.
On August 6, the topic will be the Coronation Henry III, with speaker Dr Tim Brain.
» Woodmancote WI meets at 7.30pm on the third Thursday of the month in Woodmancote Village Hall.
On September 19, the talk will be called Kim Philby, Traitor, Gentleman and Spy which will be given by Bob Skelt.
