Bourton’s Duathlon world champion, Margaret Hollamby, made lightwork of the hills to win the LV65 category in a respectable 48:36.
Father and son duo of John and Alan Gibson had decided share the burden by running together, dad just managing to cross the line first by a shorthead, finishing in 49:54 and 49:53 respectively (the wonders of chiptiming).
Close on their heels was Susan Hunt, who finished in 50:49.
John Harding, who has recently joined the club, had a good run in 53:21, with Gill Carrick completing the team in 54:10 and fourth LV55.
