Hard at work Getting our hands dirty to clean up the streets
YOU’VE picked the places that need tackling and our team is ready – it is time to Keep Gloucestershire Glorious.
Our big clean-up starts on Saturday in Great Western Road in Gloucester. Keep an eye out for our team from 10am to 1pm.
They willll be in their Keep Gloucestershire Glorious tee-shirts, armed with litter pickers to tackle one of the city’s grubby areas and make it a bit brighter.
We are still looking for volunteers to help in this first session and on Saturdays throughout August as we work to clean up the county. The dates are:
August 3: Great Western Road, Gloucester
August 10: Swindon Road (Queen Street alleyway), Cheltenham
August 17: Cinderford High Street, Cinderford
August 24: Kingsholm Road, Gloucester
August 31: Park End Road, Gloucester.
We want to hear from community groups, businesses and anyone with pride in their local community – we will provide the black bags and some refreshments on the day.
