Trio start as Eng­land com­plete cup suc­cess

» ENG­LAND Women U20s were vic­to­ri­ous in the Tri-na­tions Cup, de­feat­ing Canada 24-15 at Lough­bor­ough Univer­sity.

Three Glouces­ter-hart­pury play­ers started in the pack, Con­nie Pow­ell, Iona An­twis, and Tabitha Cop­son, while Eleanor Fe­brey was among the re­place­ments.

The young Red Roses led 7-0 at the break against Canada via Jodie Mal­lard’s try and a Lu­cie Skuse con­ver­sion.

Canada them­selves then led 15-7 through tries from Emma Feldinger, Lizzie Gib­son as well as Shoshana Seu­manutafa’s penalty, how­ever tries from Ebony Jef­feries, Holly Cun­ning­ham and Jes­sica Thomas won the game for Eng­land.
