PLANT OF THE WEEK

Gloucestershire Echo - - HOME ADVICE -

ROSA ‘HYDE HALL’

I’VE always loved this David Austin rose, below. It will bloom in continuous sprays of flowers all summer long.

It does very well in a pot as long as you don’t forget to feed and water it. Top dress in spring with a granular rose fertiliser. Sprinkle over the top of the soil and very lightly trowel into the top of compost without disturbing the roots.

Feed again once a month until August and give the roses a drink of water after feeding.
