New faces arrives as long service rewarded with associate role
» WILLANS LLP has welcomed a new face, as well as promoting one of its longest-serving lawyers. Chartered legal executive Sam Doherty has joined the Chambers-rated wills, trusts and probate team.
She advises clients on wills, lasting powers of attorney and setting up and administering trusts.
She also deals with probate and Court of Protection applications. The eight-strong team, which was recognised in the Chambers High Net Worth guide along with head of department Simon Cook, is one of the largest of its kind in the region.
In the firm’s family law team, which is also recognised in the independent guide, chartered legal executive Jonathan Eager, inset, has been promoted to senior associate.
Mr Eager, who joined Willans in 2007, has worked in matrimonial law for nearly 20 years and is noted for his expertise in national legal guide The Legal 500.
